Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of DocuScrape's Website, located at https://docuscrape.com.
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use DocuScrape if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Definitions
We collect certain identifying personal data when you sign up for our Service, such as your name, organization, email address, and telephone number. The personal data we collect from you is disclosed only in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Whenever you visit our Site, we may collect non-identifying information from you, such as referring URL, browser, operating system, cookie information, and Internet Service Provider. Without a subpoena, voluntary compliance on the part of your Internet Service Provider, or additional records from a third party, this information alone cannot usually be used to identify you.
The term "personal data" does not include any anonymized and aggregated data derived from personal data, which is wholly owned by DocuScrape.
2. General Terms
Service Provided AS IS
The Service, including its free tier, is provided "as is" with no warranty of uninterrupted operation or complete extraction accuracy. DocuScrape will provide user support for the Service; however, DocuScrape does not commit to any specific level of service or guaranteed availability. A further description of the Service is available on the Site.
Interoperation with Payment Processing
The Service depends on the continuing availability of our third-party payment processor (Razorpay) to process billing, credits, and subscriptions. If for any reason DocuScrape cannot access or use this payment processor — including a change in terms or fees charged by the processor — DocuScrape may not be able to provide all billing-related functions of the Service. No refund or credit will be provided for temporary unavailability of a third-party payment processor (for example, scheduled maintenance windows).
Company Liability
If you enter into this agreement on behalf of a company, you hereby agree that the company is responsible under this Agreement for all actions and omissions conducted by its designated users of the Service.
3. Rules of Use
You must:
- keep passwords and API credentials secure and confidential;
- take sole responsibility for your data and all activity in your account while using the Service;
- use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access to your account, and notify DocuScrape promptly of any such unauthorized access; and
- use the Service only in accordance with DocuScrape's documentation and all applicable laws and regulations.
You must not:
- use the Service to process documents you do not have the right to submit;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service or its security measures;
- exceed the scope of any API credential issued to you, or use a credential to access data outside its assigned scope; or
- resell or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written consent.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
DocuScrape and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in and to the Service itself, including its software, templates, extraction models, correction-rule engine, and all associated trademarks and logos. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that intellectual property to you.
You retain all ownership rights to the documents you upload and the data extracted from them. You grant DocuScrape a limited license to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service's software or underlying technology, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
